New Project: Maidenhead

It didn’t take long for our team to get back to being busy once the lock down guidelines were eased, letting people head back to work. Like many of our colleagues in the local area it has been a challenge to keep our business ticking over and lining up our projects for when we are allowed back on site. It gives us great pleasure to announce that we have secured our latest project through our partners at Vail Williams.

Bouncing Back

We are delighted to have secured a great project on a small industrial estate in the Maidenhead area. Autodata are the leading online source of technical information for cars, vans and motorcycles; and are in need of some updates for their Maidenhead workspace.

A dilapidations project the work will consist of a full strip out of the mezzanine floor including the mechanical and electrical facilities leaving a shell ready for customisation for the next inhabitants. We are also undertaking some roofing works to ensure the building is secure and protected from the elements.

We will be installing a new epoxy floor as well as spraying the exterior of the building to give the space a new lease of life. While these updates might look more like aesthetic upgrades, the epoxy flooring is extremely hard-wearing and cost effective. They will last for years which make epoxy flooring the ideal choice for spaces with high volumes of traffic.

We will also install all new mechanical and electrical facilities, and our creative team will be responsible for the internal decorations of the building.

The Future is Bright

In the wake of the Coronavirus, many businesses have been forced to address some of their standard work practices. We are expecting to see a number of employers assess their current work spaces to see if they are still fit for purpose and how they can be amended to fit in with the ‘new normal’ of work life.

We are very excited once more to be working with Vail Williams on this project; it’s great to start a new project after some 3 months in lock down.

I feel very confident entering the second half of this year, having secured this project for Autodata in the Thames Valley we are also due to start another project in Slough in the next 8 weeks.  We have also been approached to take a look at a few opportunities in Theale, Weybridge and Cobham.  The next 6 months are looking very promising.” Lee Wicks, Director.
