16 Sep NEW PROJECT: Burgess Hill
Having completed three major projects in three months over the summer, we were hoping that we could ease into autumn at a slower pace. However, as one of the leading commercial fit-out companies in the South of England we are in high demand.
We are delighted to announce that we have secured an exciting new project on the edge of the South Downs National Park. Our latest instruction is a fast track 10,500 sq ft warehouse refurbishment in Burgess Hill for our client Carclo & Property Consultants Vail Williams.
Major Warehouse Refurbishment
We are adept at taking on projects of all shapes and sizes; on occasion we are asked to simply reroute electrical cables, others are a little more involved.
This wonderful warehouse on the Victoria industrial estate in Burgess Hill is a significant ‘all-over’ refurbishment. We will be making the entire building brighter with the installation of new roof lights; we will also be stripping out ALL of the existing fixtures and fitting. This will give us a blank canvas with which to work.
We will be undertaking various building works to customise the existing structure in order to make it fit for purpose. We will also be laying an Epoxy floor throughout; this flooring method is tough, hardwearing, low maintenance and will easily cope with the high levels of traffic the space will cater for.
Part of the remit of the project is to design and install all the mechanical and electrical systems in the warehouse. This element has a number of complex layers, making sure that all components are correctly installed in the correct locations – these systems act as the beating heart of all operations within the warehouse. They also include all fire alarms and prevention elements.
We have also been tasked with providing appropriate decoration for the workspaces. Our team of interior designers have been working with the brand team at Vail Williams to ensure that the decoration of this Burgess Hill premises falls in line with the rest of their work spaces.
Let’s go outside
While the internal works will take up much of the effort, the outside of the building really needs some attention too. We will be cleaning and re-spraying the external cladding to make sure that the quality of the exterior mirrors the high spec of the interior. Works also include new concrete bays and external making good.
