Asset Office Interiors are delighted to have completed their latest Cat A warehouse refurbishment for their Client Carclo and Property Consultants Vail Williams. The fast track 10,500 sq ft warehouse refurbishment in Burgess Hill was delivered on time, within budget and to a great finish with an impeccable Health & Safety record

The warehouse on the Victoria Industrial Estate in Burgess Hill was a significant ‘all-over’ refurbishment.  We started by making the entire building brighter with the installation of new roof lights together with stripping out ALL of the existing fixtures and fittings which gave us a blank canvas with which to work.

We undertook various building works to customise the existing structure in order to make it fit for purpose.  We also laid a new Epoxy floor throughout,  this flooring is tough, hard wearing, low maintenance and will easily cope with the high levels of traffic the space will cater for.

Part of the remit of the project was to carry out works to the mechanical and electrical systems in the warehouse. This element had a number of complex layers, making sure that all components are correctly installed in the correct locations – these systems act as the beating heart of all operations within the warehouse. They also include all fire alarms and prevention elements.

We were also tasked with providing appropriate decoration for both the warehouse and office which also included the toilets and tea point areas.

Let’s go outside

While the internal works took up much of the effort, the outside needed some attention too.  We cleaned the external cladding followed by re-spraying the external cladding including the roller shutter door, soffit & fascias to make sure that the quality of the exterior mirrored the high spec of the interior. Works also included new concrete bays and external making good.

A full clean was carried out to the roof followed by cutting edge corrosion treatment and new Delcote HPG gutter lining system.
